AUTOMOTIVE SALES CONSULTANT

Lakewood Chevrolet is currently seeking full-time Sales Consultants in our new and pre-owned vehicle departments.  We have been selling and servicing Chevrolet Cars, SUVS and trucks in South Edmonton since 1979.

Our goal is to provide our customers and staff with a "Better Experience".  We do this by hiring the "Best" staff and asking them to provide "Great Service" to our customers.  Check out our online reputation on DealerRater, Google and Facebook. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Sales Consultants spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options

·       Sales Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicles and technology

·       Sales Consultants test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features

·       Complete quotes and explain financing/leasing options for New and Pre-Owned vehicles

·       Follow up with prospective customers and return email/voicemail

·       Support on-line customers by setting appointments

·       Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·       The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed

·       Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AGENT

Lakewood Chevrolet is seeking energetic individuals to join our unique and fast-paced Business Development Team.  This is a great opportunity to start your career in retail automotive and familiarize yourself with the entire dealership experience.

 In this role, you will be the link between the buyer and their future vehicle.  You will assist the customer with questions regarding the company, perspective vehicles, and their ability to purchase.  You will learn about all the newest vehicles and technologies on the market.  We have an in-house training team dedicated to your success, offering online and in-store training programs with our manufacturers.

 

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

·       Answer customer calls and establish follow-ups with sales appointments

·       Respond quickly to internet, phone and live chat inquiries using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates

·       Provide customers with initial product information & direct them to the appropriate dealership resources

·       Present initial financing options based on customer needs

·       Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show

·       Participate in team and process development sessions - keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management

·       Utilize CRM tracking system daily

·       Generate appointments resulting in additional sold units by means of proactive outbound prospecting

·       Must be capable of closing lead and phone opportunities by logic and common sense solutions while demonstrating strong customer care and phone skills
