With such high demand for certain vehicles on the market, you may not find what you are looking for. Why not get exactly what you want? With a factory order you have the ability to select exterior color, interior color, engine, transmission…etc. You can build that dream vehicle that you have always wanted, but cannot find. The vehicles usually arrive 2-3 months after orders are placed. When you get the phone call saying your vehicle has arrived, it will seem like no time at all. It is a very quick and simple process.

All you have to do is:

1. Choose the vehicle that meets your particular requirements - you can start your research at one of our Carline pages such as the Lakewood Equinox page.   Information here includes articles, pictures and links to GM Canada's Equinox web site.  The GM web site includes more pictures, a down-loadable Equinox brochure, and and other information.  Of course it is also a great idea to come in and look at one of our in stock vehicles and take one for a drive to ensure you are making a good decision.  Our sales representatives will be here to help you with your decision.
2. Choose the colors and options - GM Canada's website contains a Build and Price tool that let's you make yourself an Equinox or any other Carline just the way you want it.  Once you have built your dream vehicle email it to us or print if and bring it to Lakewood so we can review it with you so that you can be confident that your dream vehicle will meet your transportation needs.
3. Negotiate the price - ugg, who wants to negotiate price at a car dealership?  Actually, you can have some fun with this.  Edmonton is a very compeditive automotive market and we understand that we have to give you a fair price in order to earn your business.  We can price factory orders lower because we have no interest carrying costs on these vehicles.  Also, at Lakewood we have very strict policies to ensure that we negotiate in a straight forward manner and that when you are done we provide you with a 100% clear documentation of the vehicle that you are ordering and exactely what it will cost you.  We can also arrainge your financing at this point. 4. The hard work is done - in two to three months your new vehicle will arrive ready for you to drive home.  We can protect you from any price increase or changes to GM incentive programs that may have occured since you order your vehicle.  We can also provide you the benifit it GM programs have improved since you ordered the vehicle.  You delivery can be stress free and relaxing because all the hard work is already done.
